Identity design is more than just a logo. It is a comprehensive collection of all the elements that represent a brand to the world at large. Everything a brand name touches speaks to who that brand is and what they represent. I work with clients to find the most compelling and effective method of telling their unique story. It is the design of visual representation, the development of an aesthetic that best demonstrates the brand, and a strategy for how both will be implemented. I really enjoy finding what's at the core of each client - the passion, heart, the reason they started doing what they do - and packaging it up uniquely for world to see.

I partner with clients to create interior spaces that satisfy both functional needs as well as represent their unique idea of aesthetic beauty. I use 3D computer-generated visualization tools to accurately communicate the vision for a space. These tools provide clients with a clearer picture of a final design before the project is constructed - which helps to minimize costly changes during the construction process - and allows clients to play a more active role in the early stages of their design. I also provide all of the drawings necessary for construction as well as full project management to ensure completion of a project in a timely and budget-conscious manner.

I offer clients an efficient, one-point source for design across multiple mediums - this ensures consistent communication regardless of platform. I love getting the opportunity to dig deeper into my clients' passions, ideas, and vision and am consistently blown away as I get to play a role in packaging it up for the world to see. I love projects big & small - mostly because they allow me to meet and work with really awesome people.

I was born and raised near Charlottesville, Virginia and received a bachelor of arts in Religious Studies and a minor in Architecture from the University of Virginia. After graduating, I worked as an in-house designer for several brands based in New York City, first for Estee Lauder Companies designing international stores and later for Marc Ecko Enterprises designing and implementing retail store concepts. I began doing freelance design work in 2008 and relocated back to Charlottesville, where I live and freelance full time. I grew up going to flea markets and searching in the depths of junky antique stores. I dig vintage elements and enjoy mixing classic elements with modern techniques to create new and innovative designs.
